Contesting
Contests have long been a part of the lifeblood of brass banding. We’ve taken part in Easingwold’s own March-and-Hymn Contest, held annually for some years prior to the COVID pandemic. We have also contested intermittently in the National Brass Band Championships: we won the North of England Region 4th-section contest held in Durham, earning ourselves a trip to the postponed National Finals in Cheltenham in 2021.
